Family Gatherings, Giving Thanks and Clean Water
The month of November means the last bit of warm weather is out the door for many of us and daylight savings time seems to facilitate the big shift into the winter months. While the cooler weather and the lack of daylight might be a shock to everyone’s system, this time of year is also synonymous with the gathering of family and friends for the holiday season. While this year continues to follow its unparalleled path, we hope everyone still has the chance to safely gather, in maybe new, yet COVID friendly ways.
We can all agree on the association of holiday events and the surplus of delicious food we commonly blame for what some may call their “winter coat.” Whether it’s a Thanksgiving turkey or a Christmas ham, these meals ring in the holiday season and account for much needed and cherished time with family and friends. While the recipes for these meals are often passed down from generation to generation, an often-overlooked part of the family dinner is the water you cook with and serve to your guests.
Our Survivor Filter team takes tremendous pride in our clean water and we don’t think these gatherings and meals should miss the mark. The kitchen tap is where we go to fill everything from the pots to the glasses of water at the table, however that source might not be as clean as you think.
Basic municipal tap water is commonly found with traces of fluoride, chlorine, lead, arsenic, and a long list of contaminants that can be harmful to humans. We encourage our customers to take the same pride in serving and cooking with clean water as they do with serving the perfect meal! The Survivor Filter In-Line Home series of filters has the perfect solution for your sink. These systems give users the ability to serve clean, filtered water directly from the tap through a relatively low cost and low maintenance system.
Whether you are cooking for one or many this holiday season, keep filtration in mind and ensure you are serving the cleanest and best tasting water possible! For more information on our entire line of home filter systems, in additional to our extensive line of outdoor filters, please visit SurvivorFilter.com or check out any of our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
