How do I maintain my bottle and filter in between use?
We recommend keeping the bottle & filter separate to air dry up to 24 hours.
How do I prime the filter?
To prime a new filter for the first time or replacing a used filter, prime it by running a liter (0.25 gallon) of water through it before first use.
This allows the filter to flush out any unpleasant taste in the new filter and carbon particles that may be trapped inside before first use.

What is the micron rating on the ACTIVE Filtration Bottle?
The Active Filtration Bottle is an absorbing filter with a carbon nano ionic adsorption media instead of a membrane filter, so it doesn't use Microns. However, it has been tested to NSF Standards 42 and 53 and meets EPA Water Drinking Standards.
